“Landmarks” Sculpture:
The work is a large-scale sculpture of a winged foot, created in collaboration with sculptor Michael Alfano and painter Maura Conron, which features a pointillist painting of famous locations along the Boston Marathon route.
About the Artists:
Michael Alfano: is an American sculptor known for his figurative and surrealist public monuments and fine art bronzes. Based in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, his work often blends realistic human forms with philosophical and abstract concepts to provoke viewer reflection.
Maura Conron: is a multifaceted creative whose work spans several medium she is an active artist whose work includes painting and photography. She has exhibited at the Griffin Museum of Photograph and the Bromfield Gallery.
